The Story Behind the Creation
A sudden illness struck the creator, and the question “What is the meaning of my life?” surfaced in their mind. Meanwhile, the simple and joyful daily life of their pet mouse, Mugi, inspired the creator and brought a more positive attitude toward life.

The creator replaced every character in the traditional Rider–Waite Tarot with the pet mouse Mugi, portraying Mugi in different poses and expressions. Through this creative process, the creator’s emotions were able to flow calmly through each tarot card, making life feel less painful and instead bringing healing and release.
